Where Alden Miller Lives and Works
Living on the Oregon Coast for over twenty-five years, Alden Miller has access to inland city life and enjoys the quiet beauty of the Pacific Ocean. He now works out of his home in a bay side restored Victorian dating back to 1869, part of which was the old Commons House, where before and after the turn of the century, vessels captains coming into port were required to register. This is the Empire District, which was a commerce hub complete with brothels and an opium trade up until the 30's and 40's. While the lumber industry thrived, the drug trade did too, leaving poverty and mismanagement to an otherwise pristine coastal area.
Traveling the State, Alden Miller serves as a addictions and mental health counselor, in addition to his private practice, and now extends his services to online counseling, better known as cyber counseling. He delights in the northwest terrain, as does their 'over-the-top' golden retriever, Venus. Life is mixed with the human stories people share, and you are invited to bring heart and soul together in this journey we call life by engaging his service, experience, and training gained over decades of thought and deed.
